Asking for a sign from Spirit?

When asking for a sign that your loved ones or Spirit is with you, many are happy to dish out the exact things you need to sense their presence around you and get direction on your path. 

Spirits of all kinds will attempt to confirm and put into play your requests, with guidance or confirmation. These signs can confirm the actions you take or provide proof that they are with you and guiding you. 

There is a whole Smorgasbord of signs and confirmation of Spirit you can ask for. Things your loved ones, guides or Source, can most certainly do to get you some evidence of their existence and help along your way. 

Asking for a sign when a sign is needed naturally can happen during times of confusion in our lives, so when you are asking for a sign from Spirit, there's one main thing you can do to make sure you get one. 

To get the perfect sign, here's what you do

Decide what type of sign or confirmation you would like. 

Consider the personality of the Spirit who most visits you and the type of sign this Spirit would send you.

Have you been told by a medium, someone on your Spirit team communicates a certain way?

If so, try asking that for your sign. If not -

Here are some ideas of common spirit signs

• An electrical sign, lights flashing, microwaves beeping, fire alarms going off at night

• A verbal message sign, such as a song on the radio, in an inspirational quote, a note from a friend, or a hand-delivered message from a stranger

• A nature sign such as a coin, a yellow flower, a white feather, some specific wildlife

• A movement sign, such as something being moved or misplaced, usually creating noise

• A discarnate sound, such as hearing cabinets closing or your name being called

• A sleeping appearance in a dream or with a dream

Which of these signs sounds useful to you?

Choose one, two, or a few of the above. This way, Spirits know what you'll be looking for — choosing a sign that you like weeds out the noise from the message, and it helps them too.

Be Specific About Your Sign

The most important thing you can do to get a sign from Spirit is to be specific, and once you are, try not to discount synchronicities around that sign.

If you have a known way your Spirits, loved ones, or Angels confirm to you things, keep an open mind for these signs, along with staying open to receive any specific requests you make.

You can change the signs you hope to receive as you move along in life, still know, some Spirits will attempt to communicate with you in the ways they always have.

Specificity matters. Align how the Spirit you're asking is known to communicate with the kind of sign you are looking for, and you're more likely to get one and notice it. 

Give it at least 24-hours, and see what comes through.

Then ask for another sign or try asking for a different sign. For example, if you asked for natural symbolism, like seeing a particular flower, and work inside all day, try asking for flashing lights at synchronistic times.

Different energies often communicate differently. Meaning, if you are knocking on The Spirit World door for grandma and your father’s father is present, you may get silence from one request and wild results with another, depending on who is delivering the sign.

I find sometimes one Spirit speaks with one type of sign, and another has a preference entirely different. So if you get nothing for a couple of days, try a completely different sign type and see if you get better results.

Personally, for best results, I usually like to keep my sign private until it is delivered to avoid affecting or influencing what is returned to me by physical forces.
