From Spirit Guides, Angels, Deceased Loved Ones

When looking for a sign from Spirit, either a bird, a coin or a flower - your loved ones want you to notice, and they want your day and mood to be lifted and lightened from the sign.
So your loved ones in Spirit often take extra care in choosing the signs that will get you to notice and bring you joy.
It's ubiquitous for your loved ones to send you signs of their presence when you are having a bad day or on a day when you personally, really need a pick-me-up.
This is where sending Flower Signs can come in.
When your loved ones, guides, and angels send you a sign of their presence via flower - it's usually a particular flower they chose to send you.
A flower that will bring you happiness when you see it is the preferred choice of a sign from Spirit.
When looking for a Floral Sign from Spirit, keep your eye and nose out for these five types of flower signs:
1. Your Favorite Flowers
Your deceased loved ones, guides, and angels want to send you signs of their presence and awareness of your life as much as you want them to.
It's fun and welcoming to send someone a message that you are thinking of them.
Besides, they also want to bring you joy and beauty when reminding you of their presence (and often, their passing).
What could bring you more joy than unexpectedly sending you a scent or sight of your favorite flower?
Think for a moment - which flower brings you the most joy? For me, it's Hyacinths. When I smell these fragrant beauties around, as they are rare outside of Easter season, I know it is a gift.
For others, they like Rose or Jasmine.
Be on the lookout for a gift from Spirit in the form of your favorite flowers.
2. Their Favorite Flowers
Did your mother, father, or grandmother have a favorite flower or type of potpourri?
If so, try to remember what it was.
Chances are, if you begin to see and smell the scent of these flowers popping up into your awareness when you least expect it, it could be a sign of them and a hint of clairalience.
Be on the lookout for your loved one's favorite flowers showing up in your yard, in the grocery store, on the side of the road, or even on Instagram.
Anywhere where you would least expect to see them.
Many flower signs from your loved ones can come as a fragrance, as much as an unexpected bouquet.
Don't have a particularly favorite flower or can't remember which flower your grandmother loved most?
That's okay! You might find out from your mother after seeing Roses everywhere for three months. This happens a lot - people get the signs, and family members later explain them, putting everything together for you full circle.
3. Spring Flowers
Spring flowers, especially bulb flowers like Daffodils, are a representation of renewal, rebirth, and eternal life.
In readings with clients, planting Daffodils and other early spring flowers, like Trilliums*, are often a suggestion of signs from your loved ones in Spirit.
Seeing new life, regrowth, and regeneration as soon as the snow stops flying is a symbol that joy, love, and happiness is eternal, and returns year after year.
Love is a cyclical force which also returns.
Because of the nature of Spring Flowers, and especially bulbs, they make a great sign that your loved ones are eternal with you - even though they may not always be visible to you, much like bulbs, Spirit may sometimes be dormant, but it is a force that's always there.
Common early spring bulbs include Crocus, Snowdrops, Daffodil, and Dwarf Iris.
4. Trinity Flowers
Flowers that are used to represent the Holy Spirit, such as Lilies, are favorites to be used by your deceased loved ones as signs of their presence.
These flowers, represent the eternal connection between yourself, your loved ones, and the Divine, known as a three-way link. This tri-way connection to you, your loved ones, and the energy between the two is the Trinity symbolism I am referring to here.
The Iris, a common spirit sign, represents the Trinity link and is a flower specifically noticed to mean spirit connection, so it makes a great spirit sign.
Trinity flowers are an ever reminder of our relationship to the Divine and our loved ones, guides, and angels on the Other Side.
Common three petal flowers include Lilies, Iris, Tulips, Trilliums*, and Daffodil.
5. Yellow, White and Pink Flowers
White and yellow are often colors that resemble both happiness and joy and pure love, eternal life and connection with Spirit.
Yellow symbolizes hope, new beginnings, and joy. White often symbolizes purity, oneness with Spirit and the innocence we all return to when we each cross-over.
When asking for a sign from Spirit, many of my clients have found that the flowers they receive are white and yellow in colors - such as Sunflowers, Marigolds, Chrysanthemums, White Primrose Anemone, and others.
The Jolly Widow, mentions in her post about signs that sunflowers and roses are some of the most common flower signs used.
Sunflowers are all about the Light, so they make an excellent symbol for Spirit and a popular sign.
Pink is a hue that signifies love, compassion, and grace - which is always the energy that your loved ones in Spirit are conveying when they come through in a session and also when they return to earth to visit you.
Often, the pink flowers that are used as signs from your loved ones are Roses.
Remember: Flower signs are unique from other symbols of presence, as they can come to you via a physical appearance or scent fragrance. That is - you can see them, smell them or both, and have it be a sign.
Want to ask for a Floral Sign from your Loved Ones, Guides or Angels?
While you may think that Spring is the ideal time to ask for a floral sign, I encourage you to try asking for an indication of Spirit through flowers any time of the year.
I once asked for a flower sign from Spirit of their presence in the dead of winter and a few days later, walked into work with an unexplainable bouquet on my desk. And no, I didn't have any secret admirers.
No one could account for it.
So really, it's possible to receive a sign anywhere, and any time.
Here are the steps to catch a flower sign -
Think of the loved one or think of the message you have in mind and want to be verified.
Decide what type of floral sign you want - your favorite flowers, theirs, or a universal flower sign. Try to be as specific as possible with your request, and a little bizarre but not too odd.
The more precise you are with what type of sign you want, the more accurate Spirits will be in giving it to you, and the more likely you are to believe it when you see it because it's already been narrowed down.
Ask for Spirit to send you a sign as a flower. Quiet your mind, take a few deep breaths and try to get as focused as possible when you ask for a Sign from Spirit. You can give a timeline and sometimes, I prefer this.
For example, if you want a purple Iris within three days - say so.
The final step is to open your heart, eyes, and nasal passages to receive your floral signs from Spirit.
Accept what comes your way and allow Spirit to surprise you.
They always do!
So to recap, the five types of flower signs you’ll most likely receive are:
Your favorite flowers sent to you.
Symbols of the favorite flowers of your guides, ancestors and angels.
Spring flowers, which symbolize rebirth.
Trinity flowers, which symbolize a connection to Spirit.
Yellow, white and pink flowers.
To ask for a sign of any of these flowers, ask, be specific and wait to be surprised. For more information on the types of signs you can receive from Spirit, check out the articles below -
