When it comes to delivering messages from Spirit, either in the formal platform of a reading or in the casual setting of a friend group or development circle, we all want to make sure we are creating, facilitating and providing the best and clearest receptions possible.

Here are some essential dos and don’ts that can help you provide better messages, in a clearer way without compromising on your values, and all while providing a quality service.

1. Do Trust Your Spirits

Your Guides won't lie to you.

If you receive a message from Spirit, there is a reason.

Pay attention to cues, synchronistic events and maintain keen awareness for additional messages coming through. If during a reading, make sure to say repeat images, because those won't go away.

2. Don’t Just Blurt It Out

Pause and try to frame the sensitive stuff.

Speaking the truth isn’t always about blurting it out, whatever it is, regardless of time or place with total raw vulnerability and emotion.

To fully honor your message, pause to plan out not what you're going to say, but how you're going to say it, before it comes out of your mouth.

Spirit will provide you with the message, but it’s up to the courier (you), on how that message is ultimately delivered.

3. Do Find The Right Time

Timing is critical. Some messages are time sensitive.

When you wait weeks or even months to deliver them, they lose their strength and relevance.

Conversely, some messages will be delivered to you early, so you have time to plan and shape their optimal delivery.

4. Don’t Let Emotions Take Over

Emotions can cloud your channel and create bias in an otherwise clearly received message.

Take some time to get into the right state of mind for delivery, before you deliver anything at all.

And if you get emotional during a message delivery, take a moment, regain your composure, and then get back into it once you’ve cleared the tears.

5. Do Ask Your Spirits for Help

From trouble identifying a Spirit in your space to what’s the best way to deal with a particular client, don’t forget to tune in and ask your guides what’s up.

They are always willing to provide pointers on how and if you can get additional information.

6. Don’t Force It

If someone has made it clear to you that they do not want a message from Spirit, do not force the message. Let it be.

In order for a message to be fully received, a person has to be open to hearing it.

7. Do Listen for Cues

Pay attention to all of your senses when you are receiving (and delivering) information from Spirit.

Your Guides will give you sensations, words and sounds to guide you on when to keep going, when to stop and when to start moving things in another direction.

8. Don’t Apologize If Someone Doesn’t Get It Yet

If a message delivery is not going well, don’t apologize, back down or automatically default to assuming you were wrong.

Many people will deny truthful messages, especially if incriminating, to self-preserve or protect.

9. Do Look For Another Way

If someone isn’t getting it, ask for the message to be rephrased in another way and then, try to explain the point with another metaphor, analogy or message.

Taking an alternate road up the same mountain can often make a world of a difference.

10. Do Keep It Private

No matter what happens, all messages need to be 100% confidential.

If you choose to share the message in the pursuit of education (on your blog, on the radio, in a video) make sure you remove all personal and telling details from the example.
