Energy Healing

Balance your own subtle energy field so you can channel healing energy, connect with healing energy sources and become skilled at channeling healing energy for yourself or others.

By now you have practiced a few of the foundational principles in energy healing.

Grounding, calling forward a Healing Guide and aligning your Chakras.

Take a moment now to inhale and exhale. Practice these techniques again in your mind’s eye. Visualize yourself being grounded by the cozy warmth of fire energy. Sense your Healing Guide coming forward. Feel and visualize their energy helping to align your energy centers from root to crown.

For this part of the journey, we’re going to practice channeling healing light. 

Once you know how to channel healing light and how to direct the energy, you can share your energy healing vibes with anyone - yourself, a friend or family member, a client or even a location.

Exercise:

Channeling Healing Light

To begin, start by choosing a symbol that represents balance and harmony to you. It could be an ancient spiral, the sun, the moon, the infinity symbol, a lotus flower, or even the movement of ocean waves. 

Close your eyes for a moment and allow this symbol to gently form in your mind’s eye. Let it glow with a soft light. See it, feel it, and recognize the sense of calm and alignment it brings.

Now, set an intention for where you want the healing energy to go. 

This can be a physical area in your body that feels tense or weak, an emotional wound you're holding or even a mental pattern or limiting belief you'd like to shift. Simply hold the awareness of that area or issue gently in your heart. You’re not forcing change—just inviting healing.

Channeling the Light

1 - Ground Yourself

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes. Take a few slow, deep breaths. Inhale peace, exhale tension.

Feel your connection to the earth—imagine tree roots extending from the base of your spine or feet deep into the earth, anchoring you in steady support from your energetic roots linking you to earth’s energy.

2 - Invite the Healing Light

Imagine a radiant light just above your head. It’s a gentle source of divine or universal healing energy. This light can be golden, white, violet, or any color that feels healing to you.

See this light beginning to flow down gently through the crown of your head. Let it cascade down your spine, into your arms and legs, filling your entire body. Let it collect gently in your heart center.

3 - Activate Your Symbol

Now, bring your chosen symbol of harmony to mind again. See it glowing in your heart. As the healing light gathers around it, notice how the symbol begins to spin, pulse, or radiate.

With each breath, the symbol infuses the light with balance, calm, and harmony.

4 - Direct the Healing Light

Bring your focus to the area of imbalance you've chosen. This area can be inside your body or outside of it.

Imagine your symbol now resting above or within that area, radiating its light into the imbalance. Watch the healing light flow there—softly, patiently—infused with your intention.

Allow this energy to bathe the area, dissolving tension, realigning cells, soothing emotions or untangling old patterns. Trust that your body and energy field know how to receive and use this healing.

5 - Breathe and Integrate

Stay here for a few minutes, breathing slowly. Visualize the healing symbol and energy continuing to flow towards this area.

Feel the shifts, no matter how subtle. You might feel warmth, tingling, lightness, or even a sense of release.

6 - Close the Practice

When you’re ready, allow the symbol to slowly come back into your heartspace and rest. Thank it and the healing light for their support.

Feel your body grounded and present. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Take a final deep breath, and gently open your eyes.

Optional Journaling Prompt:

What did the symbol feel like during the healing? What did you notice in the area you directed the light to? Were there any sensations, emotions, or insights that arose?

Become a conduit for bringing through healing energy and directing it where it needs to go.

Once you master this technique, you can then direct the healing energy that flows through you to other people, with their permission.

Energy healing practices work best with the right preparation.
