Those in Spirit want to communicate with you in a way that has the most meaning, depth, and remembrance for you.

The number of possibilities for spiritual and after-death communication can seem endless. 

And the truth is, proof of your loved one's eternal life and the presence of your Guides and Angels can come in a variety of ways.

Because of the diversity of methods of contact, it seems impossible to know how and when a sign is a sign when just about everything could be a sign from Spirit.

But really, to begin to notice the signs and symbols from your Loved Ones, you’ll need to find out the preferred way that your Loved Ones, Guides, and Angels will use to connect with you. 

Each of us has a preferred method of communication between ourselves and any other individual.

Our own preferred methods of communication are actually displays of love. 

How do you prefer someone to show their love for you?

Do you like messages, helpful service, gifts, quality time? 

What do you prefer as a show of affection and compassion?

Take a moment and consider how you prefer that love is shown to you.

This is typically the preferred way your Loved Ones, Guides, and Angels will connect with you.

And without further ado, here are the four main ways Spirit will try to get through to you -

1. Messages and Words

One of the ways that your Loved Ones, Guides, and Angels want to connect with you is by giving you messages and guidance. 

If you are someone that loves words of praise, words of affirmation, and messages of support from those in your life, this is the type of sign you should look out for.

Spirit can send you messages through clairaudience, through the law of attraction in media, and through other people. 

Keep an ear out for unique messages from friends, media, and from the soft words of support you hear within your own mind.

If this is your preferred connection method, when asking for a sign, ask for:

• A meaningful song on the radio

• A written message in print form found synchronistically

• A verbal message from a friend, loving stranger, or on an oracle card

2. Acts of Service

Do you remember the saying, “Actions speak louder than words?”

In the world of Spirit, this is a real phrase. 

Providing favorable outcomes, and assisting you in making your life easier, pulling strings from behind, can be love and signs from your Loved Ones, Guides, and Angels.

Spirit Guides and Angels are commonly opening doorways and pulling strings for their people, as are Fathers and Grandparents in Spirit. 

Have you ever found a parking spot in a crowded lot or on a downtown street, in the pouring rain, and moments before you were begging for a place to appear?

Want something accomplished? It seems impossible, or just a huge hassle? Something kind of out of your control?

Ask your Spiritual Supporters for assistance in finding you the right resources to assist you with any meaningful goal. 

If this is your preferred connection method, when asking for a sign, ask for:

• Helpers for tasks

• To send you the right resources for a goal

• To make things easier than planned

3. Receiving Gifts

In every society throughout history, gift-giving is the universal sign that you love and care for someone. If you care, you give.

When your Loved Ones in Spirit pass over, they still want to give you gifts. 

 If gift-giving is very important to you, if it is how you know and feel loved, Spirit wants to give to you, too.

Gifts from Spirit are not necessarily elaborate, so look for visual signs too - such as coins, flowers, and feathers, or my favorite Spirit gift of all, amazing discounts at stores and special treats out to eat.

Did a register malfunction right as you were checking out?

Was something you really wanted, mismarked?

Did your waitress bring around a unique compliment from the chef or a free drink?

While they may not be able to buy you something, they can whisper in the ear of other humans to give you special exclusive deals when you need a boost.

Little things mean a lot, especially if the primary way you feel loved is by receiving a gift. 

If this is your preferred connection method, when asking for a sign, ask for:

• To be guided to freebies and discounts at stores

• Say yes to all gifts when offered, some offerings include more

• To receive an unexpected gift as confirmation of their presence

4. Quality Time

If the primary way you feel love is by spending close time with someone, get ready to learn how to sense the presence of Spirit.

With something as meaningful and valuable as quality time, your spiritual friends will likely make a significant effort to be noticed by you and be in your presence.

Your Loved Ones, Guides, and Angels may learn how to appear to you in dreams or create a sensation of their presence, such as a touch or goosebumps. 

While sometimes your Loved Ones, Guides, and Angels will stick around for a while, most will show up for just a moment or two, just so that you know they’re still around. 

If this is your preferred connection method, when asking for a sign, ask for:

• To sense them near you when alone

• For a visual/clairvoyant sign they're around, such as a flash of light

• To be connected with foods, gatherings or people who remind you of their essence, you can still experience their presence

To get started reconnecting with someone in Spirit, ask yourself which of these four methods make you feel loved, supported, and cared for, choose one or two that primarily speak to you.

Then, begin to hone in on noticing and learning these methods of spiritual communication. 

With the preferred methods of communication from your Guides, Angels and Loved Ones known and narrowed down, it will be easier to pick up on the signs. 

Those in Spirit want to connect with you as much as you wish to communicate with them, and they prefer to do so in a way that will have the most meaning and significance to you.

Pay attention to what you value and how you feel loved. Through this, it is the most likely way The Spirit World will be visiting you. 

How do you know for sure you've received communication?

Whenever you think a sign could be a sign, pay attention to how you feel when you receive it. 

If you feel something warm or emotional when the said sign happens, this is what is called confirmation - your emotions confirming something as significant.

The more emotional/empathic confirmation and feedback you get when you receive a sign, the more likely it is one. Some people get a tingle, another form of secondary validation.
