This month we celebrate the anniversary of this blog, whose domain name and contact emails were officially registered in April 2013.
In honor of the Blogiversary this month, I have changed the header logo to the first logo designed for the site, in black and white block print. It is one of my favorites of all the logos made so far.
AmandaLinetteMeder.com began as a way to communicate my availability for private readings which at the time were donation-based and given to referrals or by public request, when time allowed.
Starting as a basic Google Blogger site before it became official, the site began as an About Page, a Contact Page, and that’s about it. I expected the site to be “only temporary.”
In the meantime, a psychic in Nashville predicted I would never stop doing psychic activities, and it was 3-months later that the first official blog was published.
That official first blog I wrote for this site, titled What Is A Soul Contract? you can still read today.
The second blog, What Is The Life Review? was posted later that afternoon.
All the initial blogs were aimed to answer questions that my clients had about their sessions, also to clarify and catalogue my own journey with things that were coming through from Spirit that I personally found interesting.
Sharing this information with others kept me engaged with my work. It was also my goal that it helped others at the same time.
In 2013, I didn’t have an editor and roughly edited all material posted.
Within 6-months, my 47th post took off, garnering over 1-million views in a month, solidifying my future in this industry and giving me plenty to do.
These early pieces were very much rough drafts or notes of ideas, as popular as some were.
I was moving so fast, that it wasn’t until almost 7-years later that I updated them all.
Many of these early blogs are still available today, though most have since been refreshed to reflect the most recent information I have on each topic.
Today, the blog that I expected to be “only temporary” at the time, has since gained advertiser interest, accumulated 647+ articles, sold thousands of ebooks, meditation and courses, produced a payroll, withstood a pandemic, and currently hosts a monthly teaching program.
Long, long ago, I dreamed of having my own laboratory one day where I would study emerging concepts that were on the edge of discovery, teach classes, and conduct research that I would then publish.
I grew up in a science family whose parents invented things at home, so this idea seemed both natural and achievable to me as a youth.
Though I’ll be honest, the dream is not the way I thought it would look, today I feel that this website provides an atmosphere for learning new things, advancing societal concepts, and stimulating imagination, both on my end and the readers end.
So with all that, I’d say it has been a successful ride and I want to thank you for reading this blog for the better part of a decade.
Without you, none of the above would be so.
