You can make progress in every moment and feel like you are moving in rhythm with time, more organized, and accomplishing your goals. Below are a few tips on how.

You and everyone you know is likely attempting to help you be your best and do your best, yet there are days it can still feel like the best is just one more carrot on the line out there to grab.

All species on earth desire to evolve and to grow, and with the Universe expanding every day, it only makes sense. But the truth is, you are better, more put together, and organized than you were just five minutes ago.

You are continually evolving and growing and becoming the best person you can become.

So this post is on how to slow down.

This way, you can start to step into and feel like a better, more organized you, more and more every day. Below, I share my top tips for slowing down the pace while still being productive.

#8 I Am Time, and I Am Timeless Mantra

This mantra is a great one to recite.

I first saw it in the I AM Here Affirmation Cards by Mystic Moons and Britt Bukard.

It's lovely to repeat when you feel things speeding up.

I am timeless

As you repeat it, think of yourself as a tree, and the longer you live, the more comprehensive your energy becomes, and the more you, you get.

You are timeless. You are time.

#7 What Is The Most Important Thing For Me To Do Next?

Close your eyes, take three deep breaths, and imagine a golden stream of light filling your energy field. Now, ask the above question and see what comes into your mind’s eye.

You have Spirit Guides and Masters right behind you and in your energy field all the time, and ready to give you the next step for you. You can choose to take it.

They know the tips, they know the advice, they know your dreams, and the Spirit World wants to help you implement them.

I like to take this guidance any time I suddenly feel like I have thirty things to do and am behind. It’s very centering. Then, I just get back to whatever else.

#6 Inhale Some Essential Oils

Sometimes just a few slow breaths of your favorite floral is just the elixir needed.

They give us a feeling of ease.

Think of the most centering fragrance you can fathom, and see if you have it or something similar in your cabinets.

You may also just choose to smell a light, happy scent, such as anything Orangey, Piney, or Citrusy.

Winter fragrances, such as those incorporated in Holiday baking and decorations, like Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Cardamon and Clove, are naturally comforting and can invoke feelings of comfort and safety.

These feelings can translate to the sensation of having it all together, even though life is continually evolving. Take ten deep breaths and then get started on the next task you already know is essential.

#5 Balance Your Input With Your Output

Adults are just children who have grown up. They are capable of having an overly taxed energy field.

When athletes do hard things, they have a team of people replenishing them. You are on your side, and replenishment is also necessary.

During your day, try to keep up with a natural balance of inputs for all the things you output. For every 45-minutes of work, take a short break.

Doing this can promote feelings of timelessness and connection to the world, and limit the sense of always being behind.

#4 Prioritize Your Schedule The Evening Before and Focus on The Top Three

Simply ask internally, “What is the most important thing?” for the following day and write down the top three things.

This can promote feelings of organization and accomplishment, especially when you can get at least a few of those items accomplished.

It's easy to give yourself ten or eleven to do the following day. But it's often recommended by Spirit to have the most essential top three, and then if you get some of the other things done, great.

#3 Have Patience With Others When Missing A Timed Event

We are all trying to accomplish the same version of things but in different ways.

In readings, everyone wants:

  • Positive purpose

  • Money

  • Health

  • A happy intimate relationship and home life

  • A connection to something larger than themselves, usually intuition, Spirit, or some other concept of how the Universe works

I find that every season of life, people seem to tunnel focus on one or the other, moving around the wheel year after year, perfecting the sculpture each year.

But in the end, we are all attempting all of these all the time.

When you are compassionate with someone who feels late at achieving one of the above five, know it may not be their focus that year, but that doesn’t mean their current priority for is less pressing.

Being more easy with deadlines, everyone else lightens up, softening the energy around all. As tension is released, all generally feel safer and more in rhythm with each other.

In the Spirit World, delays happen all the time, things also speed up, and most of us are just riding with it.

#2 Focus Your Goals And Outsource Specific Guidance

Think of the two to three most important areas in your life you want to improve at this moment.

For most of us, focusing on a few areas of life where we want to feel more organized promotes the feeling of accomplishment. And if you have your balls in too many areas, it is natural to feel scattered.

Once you know the two to three areas, find a physical counselor or a digital one in these areas and specifically be willing to accept ways to grow.

You can also ask Spirit where to look for physical guidance in meditation or prayer.

Ask first thing in the morning, what can I do to improve X?

See what comes through. The guidance may not always be exactly what you thought, so keep an open mind.

Pay attention to ideas that come around more than once; these can direct your way for what areas need your love and areas you can direct to specialists if needed.

#1 Filter Incoming Tips And Advice

Sometimes it helps to have tunnel vision.

You put to work everything you learned in the previous absorption period. If you are working on a project, or feeling scattered, at times, it can be supportive to limit the amount of external advice you take in.

Focusing on what guidance you take in can release feelings of spinning your wheels since you'll be moving towards what you're interested in pursuing in this part of your path.

Focusing on one tip at a time, implementing it, then going to the well to drink for more.

For example, if you just went to several conferences, apply what you learned. Then maybe schedule your next conference, six months after you already worked on whatever you gathered from the last period.

Swallowing what you've bitten off, intellectually, before getting more advice, can help you feel like time is moving at a slower pace, yet you are usually getting more done. So if you have been taking a lot of advice lately, know it's sometimes okay to block it out.

If Spirit, the Universe, truly has a message for you, they will get it to you. They will be persistent, so as long as you maintain your connection through daily, weekly, or even monthly meditations, you’re very likely to be right on track with your soul’s path.

Spiritual Comfort. Need a reason to slow down? Doing so can help you intuitively take more in so you can make sure you check all the boxes. In this article, we go over 8 slow down tips, which you can use and still stay productive. Photo by Taylor Simpson on Unsplash with text overlay 8 Ways To Slow Down And Get Things Done.

So to recap, eight tips for slowing down are

  • Use the I Am Timeless mantra

  • Ask Yourself, What is the Most Important Thing for me to do next?

  • Inhale some Essential Oils

  • Balance your input with your output

  • Minimize your schedule the evening before

  • Have patience with others when they’re late

  • Outsource guidance to a few focal points

  • Limit incoming tips and advice when applying tips you just learned

Is there anything on this list you can do or take in now to feel like things are moving slower, and your energy is more centered?

Technology creates the idea that we have to move as fast or faster than the speed of light. Yet, the general workings of the body have remained the same over the past 100 years, and there are forces in place designed to slow down growth, like seasons.

The desire to slow down and organize your life is normal and natural.

Any one of these tips can help create a moment of pause for you to focus and come back to the present moment. In the present moment, you can move at a pace comfortable for you and all around.
