Lessons From Loved Ones - It's time to clarify.

In the early days of this blog, we published a weekly series titled, Lessons From Loved Ones

This series was designed to share snippets of the most poignant messages that came through from Spirit during that prior week’s readings.

The goal of Lessons from Loved Ones was to share what I was learning about The Spirit World with each reading I did and to advertise the readings themselves.

This series was in existence from 2014-2015 and most of the original Lessons from Loved Ones are now somewhere in our archives.

In honor of the anniversary month I first started blogging, July 2013, I thought today I would share one of these pieces.

Below you’ll find Lessons From Loved Ones - It's time to clarify.

Lessons From Loved Ones - It's time to clarify.

This week, many Spirit Guides and Loved Ones stepped forward to address one thing:

Ask for clarity and more of it.

While many of my clients were learning how to understand messages from Spirit, which are, from time to time, confusing, equally as confusing are messages from those in Spirit with a body!

In a conversation between two people, many misunderstandings are had. And without even a conversation, even more misunderstanding is possible. As we expand and open up in expression, your Loved Ones ask that you avoid assumptions.

Spirit within a body or without, if there is a message you don’t understand or if your feelings are hurt from a lack of communication - reach out, take the first step and make communication.

Ask for clarification and clear up some of the smoke. When we ask for something to be better explained most of the time, people will help you understand better . . . because they want you to understand them, too.

Pay attention this week to clarity and the assumptions surrounding expectations - what are the expectations you have for the day? For another person? For your work?

Tell someone what your true expectations are, rather than keeping them inside. Or tell the Universe. Unless you state what you need clearly and accurately, how will your loved ones in both the physical and The Spirit World know what to do to help you?

Today, take a moment to provide clarity around the cloud of wonder.

By simply stating your true needs, rather than feeling that you are making demands, feel that you may be providing relief for someone who is glad to know what your truth is - so they may meet it.

And, what do you believe the expectations are that they hold of you?

If you don’t know what someone’s expectations are of you, you may be placing unnecessary stress on yourself with the assumption they are asking something of you, when in fact, they aren’t.

This week, provide a clear window for yourself and others. Simply ask someone what they mean. Tell others what you mean. And lift the veil.

Alright, I hope you enjoyed this blast from the past.

It hasn’t been edited from the original besides minor typos and paragraph spacing.

Even though 8 years have passed since I wrote it, I still agree with all of this. When you tell someone what your needs are, or ask them to clarify their needs, watch out, because this gives an opportunity for your needs to be met.

Frustration with finding what you want and need can end, when you openly provide clarity regarding your needs, and ask for it, from others.

Sometimes just communicating our wants and needs until we are sure someone understands really does make life easier and more pleasurable, because it gives you a chance to let others help. Life does not have to be all on you, especially when we can invite others in on the process.
