Job Opportunities For Psychic Mediums
It's More Than Just Readings

Just for a second, think about what it means to be a professional psychic.
Close your eyes . . .
what are they doing?
Staring into a crystal ball, with a client on the other side of them? Reading a palm? Wearing a headscarf? Okay, Whoopi Goldberg.
This is not unlike what most people think when they think of psychics, mediums, tarot specialists, intuitives.
You say psychic medium to someone, and they say "oh, you read palms?"
Forget these are two totally different professions, two entirely different realms of study, originating from two entirely different heritages and belief systems, there is a lot of misinformation out there about the types of jobs and the types of professions available to sensitives. Period.
Besides the fact that we need more education out there about what it is to be a medium, the truth is, even if you have a gift, you don't have to be balled and chained to giving readings for the rest of your life. Unless you want to.
Just as if you find out you have a knack for photography, you aren't suddenly tied forever to professional headshots and wedding portraits.
You can photograph literally anything and make a living from it. You can also do teach photography, sell cameras, consult others on projects, etc.
As a photographer, you can also showcase your own work any way you like:
You can place it at art fairs, in galleries, in magazines.
You can take photos of others privately for a commission.
You can sell your photos to stock sites and make money on downloads.
You can sell your photos to galleries, office buildings, and private collections.
You can do nature shots and sell those shots to nature magazines.
You can do nature shots, host them on your website and make money on the traffic from the advertising revenue you get from all the hits.
Okay, so I just listed six options here for what you can do with your gifts as a photographer, and did you notice that 'private commissions' is only one of those options? I haven't even listed all the options.
See what I'm saying here?
This is the same with mediums and mediumship, as it is with psychics and psychic readings.
Even if we're just talking about bringing spirits through (and again, this is just one facet of all the things you can do with your abilities out there), you can do these things and so much more with your gifts:
- Private commissions
- Group demonstrations
- Inspirational writing or speaking
- Teaching and education
- Community outreach and professional development
- Public affairs and management
- Mentoring and counseling
- Personal coaching and training
- Spirit inspired arts and crafts
- Working with children to help mentor them
- Writing children's books and rewriting myths
- And so on and on and on
You can literally use gifts to enhance any profession.
You could use your spirit guides advice in your meetings and in big business junctures.
You could call on your ancestors to help you with courage and to help you say wise things during a big speech or presentation.
You could help your little one with their nightmares and/or write new children's stories where the ghosts and the witches aren't bad - they're good and should stay - thereby helping to rewrite the minds of our little ones with truth.
Now, here's a super interesting example of just one way you can use your gifts.
Meet Denise Marie.
Isn't she gorgeous?
Denise Marie is a Psychic Medium.
She's also Make-Up Artist living in Northern New Jersey. Or as I like to call it: the place of magic. A lot of people think of New Jersey as depictable completely by this one town in New Jersey: Edison.
Edison is right on the other side of New York City, meaning you can see it from all the bridges and the tunnels. It's full of water treatment plants, oil storage bins, and industry. Edison is like the hub of human industry that is present to support such a huge population of humans. But it's only one town in the whole state.
Anyway, Edison is not all New Jersey is cracked up to be. New Jersey is full of farms, waterways, coastline and quiet Victorian abodes.
To me, one of the most beautiful, wooded, places on earth is up in Sussex County in Northern Jersey, which is right along the Delaware River. It's so beautiful and isolated, people think Sasquatch lives there. Also, let's not forget the Pine Barrens. Or the 130 miles of sparkling oceanfront coastline. Drink me in, New Jersey. I'm serious guys, it's not bad.
Now back to Denise.
Denise is a medium and a make-up artist from New Jersey.
And if you know anything about mediums and long-lasting makeup, we're obsessed.
And when you're applying make-up to your clients, it's also the perfect time to provide counsel and support. So this is a perfect pairing really.
Denise is using her gifts also to help women feel beautiful about themselves, aside and together with her business of delivering spirit messages. With me, she didn't have to deliver a private message, I didn't necessarily need one. But I did need help with my eye concerns, my mascara, and what I was looking for in a primer. And clearly, she knew. She helped me with all of this.
This is how the best mediums are so good at what they do - they know. They just know. And they can apply that knowing to just about any profession they want.
Find Denise on her Instagram Page where she frequently posts pictures her art, pictures of her beautiful self, and pictures of her 'lil ghost collection, which I love.
She also does regular readings, too just like a traditional medium.
Her website: HaloReadings.com
So Denise is great. But honestly, she's just one such example of how a medium can use his or her gifts in any unconventional way they want or choose while continuing to still bring people joy and change their lives.
Remember that Makeup Monk from Buzzfeed.com a couple of months ago?
He's great. He delivers the loving messages of the Buddhist faith, all while perfecting beauty and making people happy about themselves. Isn't that the goal of life? Bringing others happiness and peace. I'd say so. Anyway, his mentor completely approved of this way of bringing messages, because whatever you do with your talents, "it isn’t wrong if it helps you deliver your message to people.” Thus, he's a Makeup Artist.
Denise reminds me of this guy.
And this is how I view mediumship and the use of your gifts. It isn't wrong if you are helping people, no matter which way you do it. To get this gift more mainstream, these days, we really do have to adapt our methods and become more unconventional than ever. There's no way the industry will ever evolve unless we do.
To me, Denise is the perfect example of this evolution of practice.
But you can be an example of it, too.
In fact, we all can.
So to end: if you find out you have abilities, know you aren't struck down with having to take wedding photos the rest of your life. Or commissioning professional headshots for business folk. You only do that if you love it.
If you don't, do anything you want.
Trust me. Be creative. It's the only way any industry ever evolves.
And no matter what - it's all game if it helps you deliver your message to your people, and it makes people feel happy, healed, healthy and whole in the long run.
The good news: you can do this, in perhaps 1,001 different ways. And likely more. Because the possibilities are endless.
