In this post, I share my favorite resources for Psychic Kids -

Wondering how to tell if a child is psychic? What type of psychic gifts your child may have? How to support an intuitive or empathic kid with spiritual or psychic gifts?

As an adult psychic child, I occasionally receive questions from parents about the best way they can help their psychic child.

The truth is, there are many different types of psychic abilities and many different ways that each child is going to embody those gifts.

Being psychic as a child, does not necessarily mean your child will want to be a professional psychic growing up - anymore than being good at soccer means your kid is going to want to be a professional soccer player.

Think of a spiritual gift like a hobby or interest they may come back to later on a rainy day, maybe it will be a business, maybe it will just be something that brings joy.

Nonetheless, every child's unique gifts deserve to be honored and every child deserves to have people in their life who understand, love and support them - regardless of what gifts they were born into their world having.

Having a psychic child in your life is an incredible blessing, it also is a reflection of your abilities as a parent, since spiritual gifts may come from you or your partner, or a reflection of the environment you created that allowed them to flourish and be nurtured.

Many intuitive children feel good when they are listened to, when a space is harmonious, and when people get along. Intuitive children are usually very empathic, and empathic beings like when things feel positive or even neutral.

When I was a child, afraid of ghosts and growing up in a Gothic Victorian in New Jersey, my mom taught me two things that were invaluable to me:

Ghosts aren’t drawn to happy music and Ghosts aren’t drawn to good smelling things. This is the opposite of their vibration.

These tips relate to lower vibrational entities, the type of energies you don't want around you or your kids.

Some spirits you do want around - like Angels, Guides - this energy is attracted with positive music, fragrances (think: the smell of food being done) and even positive imagery.

Low energy entities don't mix well with positive things, so by keeping a positive environment at home for an intuitive child, you also help them.

Teach your child a positive song to hum or sing and give them positive things to carry, and this can help amplify their gifts, but also counteract any energy they may absorb while out in the world.

Children, especially psychic children, teach us new things about ourselves all the time. 

They are a gift to our world and bring joy to many. So take any of the insight gained above to continue to support the intuitive children in your life in the best possible way.
