A few weekends ago, I was standing in the kitchen drinking an iced tea with a friend's mother.
In all the time that I’ve known her, she’s never asked me about what I do for a living.
Which was always odd to me - since everyone I have ever known generally has approximately 1,000 questions to ask about what it is I do for a living when they find out.
So it was on this Sunday when she started bombarding me with a list of questions about my career choices. Not only was I happy to answer them, I was relieved she’d finally asked.
That is, until she asked this question,
“So, do you Google your clients then?”
My reply was innocent enough,
“Why? Like, for what?”
She gestured, to me, as though to say, you know . . . for your readings.
At which point, I laughed out loud, blurting out,
“I don’t have the time!”
As I wiped up the iced tea that I’d just spit everywhere, I went on to help explain.
Not only do I not have the time to google my clients, most of the information that comes up in your reading is non-Googlable stuff.
Information in a reading commonly contains things like:
Private shared memories
Personal things going on in your life
Issues you may be dealing with, yet have never told anyone
Personalities and behavioral traits
Secret wishes, hopes and dreams
Undiagnosed issues and illnesses
These are the types of things that often come up in readings.
The type of information that comes up in a reading is not available on Google, so even if your medium isn't me - they probably don't Google you before your session.
Even if I did have the time or the want to do so, it would be little help to a medium.
As for me, a psychic medium, I get the information in my readings, from:
Deceased people that you know personally
Your guardian angels who watch over you
Guides in Spirit who stand by to assist in your life
They tell me by whispering it in my ear. They show me images when I close my eyes. And they provide me with the feelings they or you have about things, that I can use to associate that information.
Spirits communicate information to a medium through the use of a medium’s intuitive senses.
And that’s that.
The information does not originate from the physical plane - which is part of what makes it so magic.
PS - If you have a reading with a medium, they should be able to identify for you, at least in some way, who it is they are getting their information from. This is standard protocol.
