Q&A: Why Are There So Many Spiritual Life Coaches?
By Amanda Linette Meder
I'm Amanda Linette Meder and I'm a psychic medium.
As part of my job, I coach and train other mediums to follow their purposes and develop their businesses and lives in a way that supports their gifts while helping others. Meaning, I function a bit like a Spiritual Life Coach - but for mediums.
Within the past year, I have noticed a huge uptick of the number of Spiritual Coaching websites I've seen around the internet, and this has got some people asking,
Why are there so many spiritual coaches popping up right now? Is it a trend or something?
Well, let me tell what's going on -
Spirituality *is* getting trendy
Have you seen the Chakra Kit they sell at Urban Outfitters?
Or the medicine bag they sell at Free People, or what about the saging kit they sell at my hair salon?
Yup, ladies and gents, what once used to be our thing, is becoming the main stream thing. And while I used to hate when my thing becomes the trendy thing, in the case of mediumship and spirituality, it works in our favor. Because. . .
There are more clients in need of coaches now
Lots of people are being encouraged to leave their jobs and follow their dreams. And, those people are doing it. And, some need guides to help them do it. And and annnnnd, lots of these dreams are ~ intuitive ~ dreams. So more and more people are GETTING IT. Meaning, you're going to start feeling less like the odd one out, and more like the cool kid, who is just above the curve.
Alas, though, when you leave your job to follow your dreams, having a guide to assist you along the way - to bounce ideas off of, to give you pep talks, to help you look at the bigger picture - is a Godsend.
This guide role wasn't previously empty - you know, back when said person had a regular job, no - in most cases, the life coach/guide role was previously filled by a boss or supervisor in your job life.
However, when you leave the rat-race, job-life and you no longer have that boss, you are now without a guide that you didn't even know you had, and probably didn't take advantage of.
This is where the Spiritual Life Coach comes in.
In your new life, on your own, following your dreams, the Spiritual Coach functions the way a boss or mentor would in helping you sort out all of the bigger picture and technical stuff - kind of like your accountability and troubleshooting buddy - but better.
Which leads me to my third point.
Spiritual Coaches are like accountability buddies but better because -
I have long believed that Spiritual Coaches are *actually* channel mediums who are connecting with their Guides, the client's Guides, and their Higher Selves and then streamlining that information to the client in a helpful way.
Yes, it's logical information. Yes, it's practical and down to earth. And yes, it's technical nitty-gritty that will help you achieve your goals. Spiritual Life Coaches are good at all of that, but, no one ever said a medium couldn't be detailed and thorough, did they?
If you hire a Spiritual Coach, this is what I suggest you think of it like this:
a way to receive channelled guidance from a Divine Place, that's helpful for both your life and business
Every Spiritual Life Coach I've ever met has been a knowing or unknowing medium, though - they just so happen to call themselves a coach.
Spiritual Life Coaches are . . .
Mediums with business tips, Mediums with life advice, Mediums with savvy connections and technical experience who can help you make it happen.
They all have difference niches, because we all have different needs.
They're helpful folks who make finding and following your soul path easy, because they've got the technical and career skills to help you put dreams into practice.
So many people need that right now.
Welcome to the industry, my life coaching friends,
I hope to see you around!
