A few weeks ago, I was traveling for work.
While putting my things away and settling into my hotel room, I thought that it was probably about time that I call my significant other, and let him know I was doing okay. I hadn’t spoken to him all day, which isn’t abnormal, but it was time to check-in.
I walked over to the hotel phone on the nightstand and started dialing his number on speaker phone.
The phone rang and rang, and he didn’t pick up.
Not thinking anything of it, I walked back over to the bed, to start taking my clothes out of the suitcase.
That’s when I heard a man’s voice say, “He’s dead.”
Shrugging it off, the man said again, “He’s dead, you know. He’s dead.”
Panicking, I threw my shirt down on the bed and ran back over to the hotel phone, dialing his number again, as fast as I could.
Ring, ring, ring. . . still no answer.
Now hyperventilating, I redialed - ring, ring, ring -still no answer.
Pacing back and forth now in the room, nearly 2,7000 miles away, I didn’t know what to do, so I did the only thing I could think of. I sat down, closed my eyes and asked my Spirit Guide for help,
“Is he Dead?!”
Being the sensible woman she is, she shrugged her shoulders, made a ‘pfffffffft’ noise with her mouth and then firmly said,
“No, don’t listen to that. He’s fine.”
She then showed an image of him taking frozen chicken out of our freezer at home, and his cell phone, sitting and vibrating on the living room table.
Moments later, the phone rang.
Frantically picking up - it was my significant other, stating he was sorry - he was just putting some chicken patties in the toaster oven to make a sandwich for dinner. Yup. Just like my guide said.
Not dead. Definitely . . . not dead.
Who was that man I heard?
Thinking back, generally, before I check into a hotel room, I ask my Spirit Guides and Angels to go before me and clear the space. They then do a sweep through of the room, make sure there aren’t any weirdo Spirits hanging around before I arrive and if there are, they escort them out, so that by the time I get there - everything is all clear and good.
It was such a busy day, I forgot to do that this time.
This man I heard was a Spirit for sure, but he was not a Spirit of the Light.
This was a Spirit man who chose not to appear to me (they can choose to be visible, even to people who normally can see Spirits). Because he chose not to appear to me as an apparition, I didn’t see him when I walked into the room, as I normally would.
This man, was a non-crossed over Earthbound Spirit, who was choosing to tell a lie and find humor at the expense of someone else. In this case, me.
Spirits can lie to you - especially, if they haven’t made the transition into the Divine Light.
When someone chooses not to cross into the Light, they are choosing not to live in alignment with their own Light - their own Higher Truth. There are many reasons for this, but it can mean they may tell lies of varying seriousness for some other reason, that isn’t in alignment with Love and Truth - because they aren't there yet.
When a Medium tells you,
“The voice of Spirit is only loving, kind and compassionate.”
they really mean,
“The voice of Light Spirits are only loving, kind and compassionate.”
If you are dealing with a Light Spirit - a genuine Spirit Guide, an Angel or a Deceased Loved One who is crossed-over - this statement is true. These Spirits ONLY tell the truth.
If you are dealing with someone or something else, this Spirit can lie to you.
But don't worry! You can learn how to tell the difference.
Then once you know, you know - and you develop a better idea of who you can trust.
