I write this article sitting in the Chicago O’Hare International Airport in the midst of a business trip.
My first flight was scheduled to leave at 6:09 am and as far as timing goes, everything went off without a hitch. I woke up at the bright and shiny hour of 3:00 am to prepare and nothing seemed yet out of the ordinary. That is, until I went outside to start packing my car.
I can see dead people, but they aren't always around.
If you hadn’t already assumed that with me being a psychic medium, but even though I can see dead people on the regular, I often don’t see dead people as often as you might think.
They aren’t always around, some places are heavier with the deceased than others, and when it’s a no man's land for people - this usually means it’s also a no man's land for spirits as well.
Which is why I didn’t expect to see anything or anyone when I opened my front door early this morning.
This Morning, a Crowd of Deceased People Surrounded My Car
Groggy, tired and sleepy just like anyone else, I wasn’t really in the mood for socializing, but this was odd to see - a crowd of dead people in the driveway at 3 am.
So I asked them,
“What are you guys doing here?”
One of the men replied, “Protecting”
I shrugged, didn’t think much of it, internally and sarcastically thought, “great, thanks” and finished packing the car.
One hour later I picked up my brother-in-law, in my car and he dropped me off at the airport, taking my car home to watch for the weekend.
When I was boarding my plane, I received a text.
“I’ve been rear-ended by a semi truck, but I am OK. What is your insurance?” read the message from my brother-in-law.
My BIL is the one person in the family known to downplay events. So I immediately freaked out and knew it was worse than what he said it was.
And it was.
My car was hit by a semi-truck.
. . . and my brother walked away without a scratch.
Then, just as soon as I received the news, the plane took off and my cell telephone stopped working.
While on the plane, I put my head down in my lap, and tried to calm down.
Thank god he's OK, I thought.
Who cares about that car, that Honda has seen me through so much, I’m so grateful for it to give it’s life for him and then, an image of the deceased people surrounding my car from that morning head popped in.
That’s when it dawned on me.
The dead people “protecting” my car this morning protected him and i from serious injury or death this morning.
Who walks away from an accident between a compact car and a semi-truck with no injuries?
Miraculously, my brother-in law did.
And he's not the only one spirits do this for, in a recent blog written by Chayla Baer at Captivated Heart, she replays a similar scene.
It is true that Spirit can save a person’s life - and it’s not always an Angel.
The deceased can help, too. But be advised: it's not always those that we know, you have more people watching your back in Spirit than you think you do.
