The Witching Hour: What Time Of Night Has The Highest Spiritual Activity?
When I was a little girl, this is what my mom called the time of night when the spiritual activity was highest.
We recognized this spooky time of night as between midnight and 4 a.m.
Even today, if you’ve ever watched a ghost hunting investigation on tv, you’ve noticed they hold their hours in the middle of the night - hopefully catching the time of night when ghosts, spirits and ghouls are most active.
And I’m sorry to break it to you, but . . .
The Witching Hour doesn’t really exist.
There is NO time when Spiritual Activity is highest because Spirits are active all the time.
In the Spiritual realm, there is no time - not like there is in the physical world.
Time is continuous. There is no day or night. There just is.
We live with Spirits.
And spiritual activity is a constant and continual influence, remaining largely unaffected by human realm time.
What Is The Witching Hour?
The Witching Hour, rather, is the time of day when human ability to sense spirit is increased and heightened. Rather, the witching hour can be broken down into two other actual things that happen and are related to physical time:
- There are less human induced interferences that could affect subtle equipment at night - fewer planes taking off, fewer cars driving on the road, fewer activities
The witching hour is the time of day when most human and human-developed equipment are on heightened alert and most sensitive to the subtle energies of the spiritual world - because there is less interference.
As humans, throughout the day, evening and early mornings - are minds are busy and active, we are preoccupied with a million thoughts and a million things to do. We are busy and receiving energetic inputs all the time.
During the day, humans are over-stimulated. Thus, tuning in, quieting down, and honing our subtle energy sensing abilities are easiest when there is no other or very limited energetic and emotional input from other sources.
Humans have the highest sensing ability of Spiritual Activity in the middle of the night.
Typically, during the middle of the night our abilities to sense spirit are increased because everything else that we can sense is decreased.
It can be easier to pick up on soft voices and music, that you may not have been able to hear during 5 o’clock rush hour near an airport or busy highway. The world is most quiet to us. Friends and family are asleep. Animals are cozy in their nests. Electrical activity is minimal. Telecommunications go down to almost a silent hum. The world is asleep. All our other input is on low volume. So the input of subtle energy can be sensed more easily.
Planning a ghost hunting night, a seance or spiritual contact exercise?
Depending on the time of year, social and seasonal activities - the best time for all people to sense Spirit is between 2-4 a.m.
Is it hunting season in your area? Shoot for earlier in the morning, before hunters awake and start rustling about.
Is it the weekend of New Years? Shoot for later in the morning, after even the most serious party crews have gone to bed.
Want to develop your Spirit-Sensing abilities?
f you develop your ability to pick up on subtle energy, your ability to sense and connect with Spirit won’t be limited by time at all.
Mediums, intuitives, and spiritual sensitives actually practice their spiritual sensing abilities to tune them in and turn them up all the time.
If Spiritual Activity was highest in only the middle of the night, mediums would have a hard time connecting with Spirit during the middle of the day - and they don’t. Because they’ve practiced developing their ability to sense Spirit.
And the good news is, you don’t have to be a medium to develop your spirit-sensing abilities, which are called clairsentience.
You just have to have the general intention to want to learn and then stake out to do so.
