Miss Cleo Dies In Her Home At Age 53
According to the Huffington Post, Ms. Cleo was found dead at age 53 in her South Florida home today.

According to her representative’s statement to the celebrity gossip site, the psychic was a “pillar of strength” while battling colon cancer. Harris was released to a hospice center last week.

The iconic TV psychic is dead after battling cancer ... TMZ has learned.
A rep for Miss Cleo -- whose real name was Youree Harris -- tells us she died Tuesday morning in Palm Beach County, FL. We're told she was recently hospitalized, but was discharged last week to a hospice center.
We're told Cleo was originally diagnosed with colon cancer ... but it spread to her liver and lungs.
The rep said Cleo remained a "pillar of strength" during her illness ... and died surrounded by family and friends.
Miss Cleo is most famously known for being involved in a psychic hotline scandal through her employment with The Psychic Readings Network and in a telling interview in the documentary Hotline, released in 2014, she reveals the truth of the scandal she was involved in and how dearly it affected her life.

Regardless of how the public may have scapegoated her or what employment mess she may have gotten into, Cleo struggled dearly with the negative publicity following the scandal and even after her lawsuit, she continued to courageously practice readings out of her home in Florida.
She was a brave woman who popularized psychic readings and brought attention to psychic phenomenoa worldwide.
As a martyr for the industry, she opened the door for many practicing and closeted psychics to embrace their gifts and open professional practices.
