Are Demons Real?
Welcome to my website.
My name is Amanda Linette Meder and I’m a professional psychic medium.
Before I became a professional medium -
I spent the majority of my time in chemical labs processing the pollutant samples found in plant tissues, stream water and urban soils.
This is because I have two degrees in the natural sciences - a B.S. from the University of Nebraska and an M.S. from Auburn University.
And during my time doin’ science, I worked on projects related to environmental science restoration.
This required a lot of chemistry.
In chemistry, it is known that all that exists on Earth is held together by energetic bonds built by protons, neutrons and electrons. Positive charges, neutral charges and negative charges.
Depending on the magnetism of each atom, molecule or collection of charges, determines the positive or negative attraction of said object. For example, soils with high negative charge (organic matters, primarily) attracted pollutant types that had high positive charge and vice versa.
Science Has taught me about positive charge and negative charge.
I was bred and raised in a family of scientists who believed that polarity in the universe is what keeps everything in balance. Professionally, this reality was also stressed heavily. It was taught that nothing could exist without these polar forces continually interacting with each other.
And as a medium, these teachings of science have impacted my view on the Spirit World and how it operates.
I believe in positive and negative influences both being necessary for Universal balance - in both the physical world and the spiritual world.
Because I believe in Angels, I have to also believe in Demons.
Angels are spiritual beings with the highest possible positive charge. The mediumship community places incredible importance and reverence into the Angelic reality. Guardian angels, archangels, personal angels, living angels, angels who are also saints. Angels are everywhere and in every metaphysical shop regardless of denomination.
However, because there are Angels, I have to believe that the exact opposite, exists: a spiritual being with the lowest possible negative charge. Demons.
I also believe in respecting the experiences of others.
Many mediums, spiritual seekers and just regular folks have had experiences with the spirit world that are not all positive sunshine and lollipops. It is not fair to discount the experiences of thousands of people simply because one person lacks a similar experience.
Scientifically speaking, if something is real, it should be replicable.
However, just because you have not been able to replicate the experience in your own testing lab, doesn’t mean something doesn’t exist. I don’t believe it is fair to the work of other scientists (other spiritual seekers) to be dismiss their findings on the basis that you haven’t be able to repeat the results. If you are meant to come into contact with the dark side, you will.
but don’t believe everyone is ready to experience the dark side.
I believe that while Demons are real, not everyone is going to experience them first hand. For some, it’s not in their soul contract to have a direct experience with the dark in this lifetime, though they may have many indirect experiences.
For others, they are still so early in their spiritual journey, their soul wouldn’t be able to handle this type of information. And for others still, the concept is so far out of their scope on what they know to be true, even if the Demonic was presented to them on a silver platter, they may not be able to or they would refuse to recognize it for what it is.
I believe coming into contact with the dark side is a sign of spiritual growth.
Just because you have had an experience with a Demon does not mean you are a dark person.
Coming into contact with something that represents that true balance of the universe - the reality of a light side and a dark side - I believe is an advanced soul lesson. It’s a sign that you are ready to learn the truth about the dark and what it can teach us and through that, you’ll learn more about the light.
because You can’t learn about the light without the dark.
An experience with the dark can teach us many things about ourselves, the true nature of the world and the importance of discernment. Experiences with the negative often teach us more about the way the universe works.
I believe coming into direct contact with contrast of positive and negative is the only real way you can learn about the light. You can’t know everything there is to know about positive forces without understanding how their exact opposite polar force plays a role.
despite this, Sylvia Browne, one of my idols, has spoken at length that demons don’t exist.
I admire, love and idolize her teachings, but I believe Sylvia Browne’s purpose on earth was to awaken a largely old-fashioned, rigid and highly religious population to the safety and love that is represented on the positive pole of the spirit world.
If she had introduced demons and the dark at that time in our history, it’s highly unlikely we would be where we are today. Because of this, I believe her not talking about the dark was more a strategy for getting us to where we are going - the spirit world’s common day acceptance - than it was for perpetuating any certain ideal.
People are just more accepting of the Spirit World when we keep it positive.
Just because your medium hasn’t brought up the negative stuff, doesn’t mean he/she don’t know about it or lack experience in it.
Talking about demons is taboo in the spiritual community, so most people don’t. On top of that, the last thing anyone wants to do is attract them by drawing attention to the issue.
Because there is light, there has to be dark. Because there is positive, there has to be negative.
Because there are Angels, there has to be Demons.
So, are Demons real?
What you know to be true is is real. However, the opposite of what you know to be true is also real. Reality is determined individually. What each of us sees as real is determined by our own life experience, our cultural beliefs and our own understanding of how the universe works.
