A few weeks ago, I was helping my twin sister, Sarah and her family, move across the country.
While I’m no stranger to driving in rural areas with an old vehicle, this was their first time traversing the nation in a 1999 Dodge Durango, that pretty much ate engine oil for breakfast.
As we were driving into town, on unpaved forest roads, a warning light illuminated the dash - we needed more oil. . . .as soon as possible. I’ve always driven older vehicles, and I’ve always carried with my extra quarts of oil - for just in case. But Sarah only had empties in car.
So, as we raced down the hill, hoping the only grocery store in town was both open and a carrier of engine oils (while unlikely, we were hopeful), Sarah came up with a plan to just pick up 1 quart of oil to stay within budget and that would be fine - that’s all that was needed last time, after all.
In that moment, I said, “No, we need to ask the Guides.”
Neither me nor her were mechanics, and neither of us, had previously put engine oil into this vehicle - we had no idea how much it needed or the size of the oil well.
I asked my Spirit Guides and got the number “3”, immediately to pop into my head.
And at that moment, we rolled into the grocery store parking lot, got out of the vehicle, and marched right down the main aisle of the store to find engine oil, on the lower shelf on the left hand side. We got three quarts.
Back in the car and traveling back away from now, we argued on whether to add the oil now on the side of the road, or to wait until we got all the way home, for her husband to do it, which was 45 minutes up a mountain on dirt roads.
I asked and the Guides said something that scared me enough to make a decision, “Engine Seize.”
That was all I needed to hear.
Without telling Sarah what I’d heard, I just quietly asked her to pull over in an abandoned parking lot. Here, a passerby stopped to make sure we were ok, and helped us get the engine hood up and unscrew the engine cap, before driving off.
And as it turned out - we needed exactly 3 quarts to get to a safe level. Score for the Spirit Guides! They were right.
Now, how much oil was left in the tank when we went to fill it up, you ask?
Zero quarts of oil. No oil.
Boom! A second time - the Guides were right, as had we waited, the engine may have surely seized with zero oil to lubricate the gears.
As I reflected on this experience, I realized that I actually talk to my Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels and Loved Ones in Spirit to ask them questions like this - all the time. All the time. Sure, I also bring through other Spirits for clients, but I use my own connection with Spirit, to improve the quality, safety and security of my own life - more often than I use it for others.
And we all have this capability - to connect with our own Spirits to ask them questions to benefit our own lives.
You have the ability to connect with your Guides, Angels and Loved Ones directly
- and it will improve your life.
You can ask them questions about relationships, you can ask them for signs to point you in the right directions, you can ask them to send you hunches or nudges for you to know what to choose and when. You can ask them about engine oil. You can ask for guideposts, messages, both external and internal, to improve your own life.
You can ask your deceased husband, mother or father to help you with all types of things from picking out an honest doctor to helping you know how much the car repair estimate is supposed to be (I’ve done this).
You can do all of this without having to be a professional medium - by just being a regular person who has access to the tools, techniques and tricks of Connecting with the Spirit World.
And I want to provide you with these things - through a connection to the Spirit World that can benefit your own life, that can provide you with the support you need, when you need it, and that can offer you mini-magic required, to get you through the tough times.
You see, in an hour long exchange with my Spirit Guides, with just two simple nudges - Sarah and I were kept safe, secure and without cell phone service to call for physical world help when we needed it - we sent a call up to our Guides - and it worked.
It can work for you, too. Just like this, I promise.
See you there!
